    About ISR Coastal Swimming

    Our Unique Approach

ISR Coastal Swimming offers fully customized, one-on-one lessons designed to cater to your child's individual needs. Our unique approach ensures that learning is safe, effective, and tailored specifically for your child’s comfort in the water.

All  students, even those as young as 6 months old(and sitting up  independently), learn the fundamental ISR skill of rolling onto their  backs to float, rest, and breathe. Infants and toddlers who are not yet  walking well will learn to maintain this position until help can reach  them, and it's just as important for our older students as they  incorporate more swimming skills.

As  toddlers and young children(up to 6 years) gain more physical skills on  land, they are ready to learn more skills in the water as well. ISR  teaches children to swim a short distance, rotate onto their back to a  floating position, and then turn over to continue the sequence of  swimming and floating until they can reach safety at the steps, side of  the pool, or shoreline.

    Lesson Structure

Lessons will be 5 days a week 10 minutes max each lesson. Skills will be taught within 6-8 weeks. If more or less time is needed, will apply case by case. Consistent attendance is crucial for student success.

Each day your child will need to bring 3 towels poolside, and avoid anything to eat or drink within 2 hours.

    Please Note

At times, students take longer than the average to obtain skills for developmental reasons but the following also greatly impacts the rate at which a child obtains the required skills needed to complete the program.

    • Poor attendance
    • Interference during session (I.e. swimming at home, use of flotation)
    • Prior use of flotation devices as swimming aids
    • Shortened lessons due to lack of safety protocol compliance (eating specific foods/too close to lesson times, etc).

Please be mindful of the above and your ability to commit to the program.

    Investment

There is a one time registration fee of $105.

The registration fee of $105 covers a comprehensive medical backround evaluation that you will complete online after registering for lessons. ISR's medical team reviews all the information in full to ensure your child can safely participate in lessons.

2025 Fee for students is $140 weekly cash or Venmo(processing fee applies).

$280 is due before the beginning of lessons which will be applied to week 1&6. Payments for week 2-5 will be due the Friday before.

Maintenance and Refresher classes are $28 daily or $140 weekly.
